I am pleased with this plant stand. It is made of wrought iron that is a little over 1/4 inch in diameter...and the stand weighs 19 pounds, which is a lot heavier than similar stands that I saw in local stores. Very well made...should last a long time. The paint job is also very substantial...should not have to be repainted for several years, even when exposed to the elements. Attractive design.
My only disappointment: the plant stand itself is not a foot deep, as the dimensions said. The bottom legs are a foot deep at their widest point, but the shelves themselves are only 9 1/4 inches deep. This stand will hold most but not all pots. My larger pot just barely fit on the top shelf, and only fit because it is narrower at the bottom than at the top. The bottom shelf will accomodate pots that have a wider bottom diameter, however, since there are no side railings on the bottom.
All in all, a very attractive and functional plant stand.
