I purchased this test kit to use in my pool care business. It is probably a bit more than a pool owner would want to pay...and for you folks I would most highly recommend the smaller version of this test kit, the Taylor K-2006 (without the "C" after it). This one is much larger and heavier, but a pool care guy uses a lot more of the reagents every week, and the replacement bottles just drop right in so the labels never get old on my bottles. My old K-2006 kit had lost its lid, and all the small bottles had lost their labels, so this spiffy new kit is just what the doctor ordered. The only thing missing that I needed was the Taylor Salt Test kit, so I ordered that a la carte, and the new K-2006C kit has enough spare room inside it for the salt test kit and some extra Cyanuric Acid reagent bottles...a nice discovery!

If you get this kit, take care to push hard on the two clips that close the lid...it takes firm pressure, and if you don't get them closed all the way, you will dump out the contents of the kit! But once you push them firmly, the kit is really closed and won't accidentally open. Taylor has also introduced a new "gift" in the kit, an "eyedropper" bulb type pipette for measuring the R-0010 reagent in the Calcium Hardness test. This speeds up the work...another nice touch.

And the seller/shipper, Amato Industries, provided fast service and shipping at a fair price! I haven't found a better place to purchase this kit or the K-2006!
