Dirt Defender covers are U.V. stabilized to protect it from the harmful effects of the sun. It features a black underside to retard algae growth and heat sealed seams to ensure a crystal clear pool next spring. The Dirt Defender 12-Year cover comes with loops every four feet to secure water bags, and corner grommets allow for extra tie down in windy areas. The cover is 5 feet longer and wider than the pool size, and comes in forest green with a black underside. This Dirt Defender cover is backed by a 12 year warranty (2 years full rated).

Can't speak of the durability as the cover has only been on a few days, let alone 12 years but the cover appears well made. The large size lets the cover sit flat on the water in my partially drained pool without stretching. I might have given 5 stars but the one drawback is the flimsy water bag straps, which sadly seem to be the norm these days.
