I purchased this battery as a replacement for my new Greenworks G-MAX 40v lawnmower. I was under the impression that this was just an older version of the G-MAX battery and the product description clearly said it was compatible with all greenworks 40v line of tools...Jump forward to the day it arrived and I was heartbroken to find out the the battery (although it looks almost identical, except for the G-MAX missing on the side) did not fit into the charger or the mower!!
Buyer beware, this does NOT fit "all greenworks 40v line of tools", it does NOT fit the G-MAX line of 40v power tools
