DESCRIPTION DECK-O-SEAL two-part, polysulfide-based joint sealant is a premium-grade, pourable, self-leveling sealant. It is a non-staining sealant that cures at an ambient temperature to a firm, flexible, tear-resistant rubber. DECK-O-SEAL is highly resilient and has excellent recovery characteristics after extended periods of compression or elongation. DECK-O-SEAL has outstanding resistance to most chemicals, to all weather conditions, aging, and shrinkage. USES DECK-O-SEAL is used for caulking and sealing joints subject to concrete movement to provide a firm, flexible, weather-tight seal. It is ideal for sealing joints on swimming pool decks. It is applicable for both interior and exterior use. There is too much catalyst in this product. Directions say; stir for 10 or MORE min. Wrong, 5 min. max. Rush the job as "applicator" bottle mouth is too small to load. Directions have a chart to cut the opening of the bottle by based on the size of the gap that you are filling. Rediculious data! Cut the tip not per the directions but 1/2 way up the nipple. As you are in a race against time if you follow their directions. I wrote to Deck-o-seal a week ago but was ignored. They have probably heard this complaint soo many times from others that do not feel obligated to respond to their customers. Predictably, I and many others I would suspect had to throw a fair portion of the can out as it harden too quickly and would not flow out of the appicator bottle consistently and was at best difficult to load in the small bottle opening. Too finish off the rest of the product I needed to purchase two 11oz. caulking tubes @ $11 each an expensive alternative. No company representive will respond this product review either. They can't in the face of the obvious and do so would be a sham.
