This umbrella is ADORABLE!!! I have not put it out yet as we have had high winds and rain rain rain! Although it would withstand the rain I am sure as the thatch part is a plastic thatch and the umbrella part is a nylon type fabric underneth with air gaps so the wind will blow through, I just did not want to put it out there in this bad weather and have it blown away and never have used it. I did take it out and stage it just to see what it looked like and I love it! Can't wait for the sun to come out. I am hoping it lasts a few years not sure how the plastic thatch will hold up in the summer sun. I will up date in the fall and let you know. For the price it is well made and so cute. One thing I wish it had was a tilt that is the reason for the 4 stars.
