Although you may not think about your air conditioner unit too much in the winter months, protecting it from harsh winter weather will help ensure that it keeps you cool for many summers to come. Our Ultima line of A/C unit covers are specially designed to provide superior protection from snow, ice, animals and debris. This cover will fit rectangular units up to 42" x 38" x 38". Ultima polyester is our highest quality fabric and has been formulated specifically to stand up to the elements. All Ultima polyester is woven from solution-dyed yarn, which is much less likely to fade over time. In addition, Ultima polyester is specially treated to block damaging UV sunlight and to be ultra water-resistant. Even though the polyester fabric of our Ultima covers is highly durable, it is also lightweight and easy for anyone to put on or take off their air conditioner unit. Each air conditioner cover features heavy duty straps in addition to an elastic hem and drawcord to ensure the cover stays in place, even in strong winds. All freon and electrical lines can be routed through the strong velcro slit on the corners of the unit. Note: if your connections are not on the corners of your a/c unit, this cover will not work well for you. Each Ultima cover is also equipped with covered breathing vents to ensure proper airflow, preventing trapped moisture that can cause rust, mold and erosion.

It is not easy to find an AC cover that fits precisely to the external AC units. All the ones sold at stores are one-size-fits-all and are usually very large in dimensions. I was glad to find this item on Amazon sold by a third-party seller.

Although it is sized to be 26x26x32, in my opinion, it is about 1-1/4 inches larger on each side. So, it does not snug-in tight. Perhaps it is because there may be future expectation of shrinkage under the natural elements. I am not sure.

Built is very quality. I do believe that this item can actually last a few seasons at least.

It has a side pocket for air breath, not sure why, but, it may function for a reason. Bottom clips are well made and thighs the cover below AC unit's connection tot he ground establishing a secure fit.
The item delivered on time as promised in good package.

I do think the price is a bit high. However, given the fact that AC covers are not made in this size, supply and demand rule kicks in to effect the price.

If you have an AC unit sized 26x26x32, you have one option as a cover. This is it. So, buy it !

TIP:

Although, it may not be necessary, I would suggest to get some sort of belt or rope to secure the middle of the AC over the cover to ensure that it is tightly covering the AC unit. This may be extra support during windy days.
