I did a fair amount of research for steps and found these particular ones at various sites, with and without the removable storage compartment. The price here at Amazon was substantially lower than anything else I saw. It came earlier than I expected it to (shocking!) and in good shape.

OK, so despite what it says in the description, it DOES need some assembly, at least the Taupe/Beige one does and it took all of 15 minutes. I don't know what the other reviewers were talking about with holes that don't line up. There are no holes to line up and only 4 screws to deal with. If you know your way around an electric screwdriver and a rubber mallet (both of which are recommended in the instructions, which again, are very clear), then you're good to go. It's actually well designed and thought out. Again, pretty rare in my experience.

I have absolutely no complaints about this transaction! Go for it!
