Willow & Seagrass Picnic Basket Review

I received this for a holiday gift and was taken back at first of how beautiful it is crafted, although initially disappointed that it was a service for 4 because of the size of the wicker. It is well thought out, with everything from real salt and pepper shakers (I replaced them with upgraded silver/cobalt) to a cheese block and knife, and even a waiter-style wine opener. The flatware felt a little cheap compared to the quality of the ceramic dishes and real glassware, but that was easily solved when I discovered I could replace the flatware with my finer silver plate flatware. It turns out you can fit knives and fork on one side and Soup and teaspoon on the other to convert it to service for six. I even changed out the plates with smaller and flatter dinnerware that I already had which gave me a total of seven plates. As far as the drinking glass issue, I feel certain that with the wine caddy I already have... that pretty much will solve that last issue to make this a fully customized picnic basket for six. Bravo for quality. I couldn't be happier.

There's a ton of room for anything you want to add: an extra cheese block/wire, several pyrex casserole dishes, etc.
