If you really need a 25 X 40 tarp, this is not what you want! I bought this several months ago, as I need a tarp this size every few years because they get weathered out over the winters. I use it to cover the screen room over my pool. 25 X 40 is the cut size, on the package it says finished size 24ft 2 in X 39ft 4in. the one I got wasn't even 39ft. So I'm a foot short on all my tie-downs. I've been buying blue tarps from Wal-Mart's and online for years, and when they say 40ft, they were 40ft. This is like 16 in tires and getting 15s!
