This star is well thought out for something this size and price. The metal is ok, but not enough to be solid for the length of the star. Keep in mind it's really 10 feet. I tried to put on roof without securing anything else to it. It did work, but I poped of several plastic holders for the lights. It's really visable from long away.

When I take of the roof, I will be securing it to wood to keep it from bending and dropping more plastic parts.
