Timber Tuff TMB-65 Fiberglass Handled Timberjack Review

I was frustrated searching for specs. on the log jacks (and peaveys) offered on the internet, so following is a description of this tool.
I've held off on purchase of a log jack because either the price was too high or not sure if the construction was not as heavy duty as required for the job. Just got the Timber Tuff today so no field test yet. The tool is heavy duty. The jackstand (3/8"x 1" steel) bolts inside a rectangular tube of heavy steel (doubt that will ever fail). The base of the jackstand is welded to the ground rest and looks like it will hold up well (often the weak point). Attaching a piece of 2"x4" (u-bolts) to broaden the ground rest for muddy soils will be easy, but likely unnecessary because of the 1.25" diameter of the groundrest tube (10" long and unfortunately not plugged at the ends). The hook (3/8" x 1" steel) is cut from a single piece and inserts inside a channel welded to the steel post base (1/8" thick 2" steel tubing). It is held in the channel and pivots on a heavy bolt so pulling it off to regrind the point will be easy (will do that before first use). The spike on the post is a triangle of 1/8" steel and might be a design/build compromise but certainly should hold up and will take many sharpenings (I will file a sharper point on that also before first use). The post base is 11" long and the solid fiberglass handle is inserted into its entire length (no open tubing end to plug with mud like the groundrest tube). The fiberglass handle (51") looks bomb-proof and has a 16" plasticized rubber grip. The grip is relatively thick, but might loosen and twist with use (and need to be glued on if that happens). I always wear heavy gloves, so if the grip is any hassle, I will simply use the log jack without it (like my previous peavey). And finally, the yellow powder coat paint looks good.
I prefer to buy products made in the USA, but not sure it is possible to even know where something is made these days until the box arrives with "made in China" on the side (this tool). This looks like one hefty log jack and at a very good price compared to the others on the market.
