My understanding when I ordered this post is that it was all aluminum. I did not realize that "injection molded construction" means plastic. I thought it was a way the aluminum was constructed. The horizontal crosspiece is all plastic. Highly disappointed. My son had it installed in concrete before I could decide whether or not to return it. Our neighbor across the street has the same design but theirs is all metal. Had I known there were plastic parts I would have kept looking for an all metal post.
