What I really like about this birdbath is the way the bowl is more stable. It has a notch in the base and a part on the bowl that insets into the notch and then turns so it can't be knocked off. My last bird bath broke because the deer kept knocking the top off. I would have preferred a gray color so that it would have matched other fountains in my gardens, but this one is quite pretty. I also like that it holds more water than my other birdbaths so my winter heater sets down further to keep the water open. It came well packed but did have a little part broken off where the top fits into the base. Didn't hurt anything and can't be seen, so didn't bother with returning it.
