Smv Industries 48a 8' American Windmill Review

I ordered this item on Sept. 11th received the product on September 13th and assembled and installed in my backyard on Sept. 14th. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. The tools required were a long srewdriver, 8", a crescent wrench or a pair of pliers, tape measure and hammer(to pound the anchoring pegs into the ground). Assembly took about 1 hour. The windmill is well made. The only negative comment I have is that the nuts used in the assembly are square and are sometimes difficult to start on the threads of the screws at the topmost bracket. So if you are looking for a solid well built design this is the one. The price is a selling point too.

Product Description

Gentrol IGR Concentrate travels deep into wall cavities, cracks and crevices, reaching the pests that other treatments miss. (S)-Hydroprene, the active ingredient, prevents pest larvae from progressing to the adult stage either causing sterility of adults or preventing the emergence of insects from the pupal stage - preventing future infestations. Stored product pests encounter (S)-Hydroprene the same way they encounter insecticides - contacting a treated surface.

1 Pint Gentrol Concentrate IGR Insect Growth Regulator Review

I knew this product would work because it was recommended by the local pest and weed store which has been in business for over 30 years. But because some pests like Bed Bugs become resistant to pesticides, you have to use 2 ounces per gallon of diluted pesticide according to a newly released study. The label does does not have this new info.

Even using 2 ounces with Suspend SC pesticide, I have a few "stray" bed bugs left. Did additional research and found out that adding a "kicker" such as MGK Exponent to pesticide solution makes the pesticide and IGR work more effectively. (Bayer Pesticide and MGK websites along with other sites)

MGK Exponent actually short ciruits the bug's imune system, even on resistant pests, allowing the pesticide and growth inhibitor to work.

I have also ordered MGK Evergreen (organic) 1% Pyrethrin Dust Insecticide and a duster bulb. A co-worker said after having her apartment was treated twice by professional exterminators, she had a few "stray" beg bugs left. And after using the Evergreen, it killed the remaining beg bugs. Apparently the organic Pyretrhin works on pests that are resistant to synthetic Pyrethrins.

Hope this info helps. Also since you have to use 2 ounces per gallon, its far cheaper to buy the 16 ounce bottle which costs over $100.00 at local pest supply places, if they will sell it to you a non-licensed person.

Table In A Bag SL4815A String Lights with Amber Bulbs, 48-Feet, 15 Lights Review

I ordered this exact string of lights in amber and have them in my courtyard, they are fine (except, see below). I wanted more lights and you can add up to 5 strings of these lights, so I placed another order - they were back ordered, but finally came. I added them to my original set and turned them on and one of the new bulbs EXPLODED with a loud pop very near the face of the person installing them. Then the new string had half the sockets out after that BUT it also damaged my first string and I can't get a replacement because it's been more than 30 days. Upon further inspection - the wire that they used to string the lights is NOT like the picture or like the other set - it's thinner and flat, like a lamp cord. I can't find anyway to reach the manufacturer to tell them what happened or to get a replacment for my first string that was damaged. Disappointing because they are exactly what I wanted.

Strider-SS Automatic Pool Skimmer and Cleaner Review

Even though our pool is caged, in the spring it was loaded with fine bits of pollen. This just floated around, stuck to the pool edges, and refused to pass through the skimmer. We also have three cats and two dogs that love being pool side in the sun, making pet hair also a big problem before the Strider-SS. Finding the Strider-SS has made living with an in ground pool a breeze now. No more time spent netting, and very little brushing. Our pool is now crystal clear. It collects everything that floats on the surface. The Strider-SS has no moving parts that need replaced, and should last us many year's. I highly recommend the Strider-SS for anyone that is tired of pet hair, and fine particles floating on the surface of there pool. Never net your pool again.

Ryobi 18volt Cordless Hard Surface Blower Review

This is great on surfaces where you would otherwise use a broom. And much more efficient than a broom on decks and patios where there is furniture. I use it to clean off my driveway, sidewalks and decks. Does a very good job for this application. The first time I used it I charged it up and kept it on continuously and timed it. It lasted for 8 minutes before it shut off. I like that it kept moving a pretty good volume of air until the end and then just shut itself off. There is only one speed setting, which I don't think is a drawback. I do wish the battery had more capacity though. I wouldn't recommend this for yard work but it works very well on hard surfaces.
