I actually have three similar devices in my house. The others are known name brands in the weather industry and I think this one tops them all. 1) This device has very large, bold numerals that can easily be read across the room. Only one of my other devices is this easy to read from as far away and it is almost a foot in width! The way this device is so readable is by displaying the readings from the main sensor for a period and then rotating through displaying the other sensors. Even though the WS-07 comes with one remote device it can support up to eight. However, waiting for the readings for eight remotes and the main reading to rotate through the display would be painfully slow. If you want more than the one remote included with the unit, I would not recommend more than one additional remote. 2) The WS-07 has great wireless range. I currently have the remote unit on the 1st floor at one end of a large house and the main unit is on the 2nd floor at the diagonally opposite end of the house. The reception has been flawless over that distance of ~75-80ft going through about 5 walls and the ceiling. 3) One of the biggest surprises for me is the User's Manual. The norm for a device like this is a barely readable 2-3 page manual. The WS-07 comes with a professionally written 10 page manual that covers all features in excellent and lucid detail. I was surprised in reading the manual to find that both humidity and temperature for the main and remote sensors can be calibrated. This is a rare feature in low cost weather devices. I see that the buyer has the option to purchase directly from Ambient for $19.99+$8.50 shipping or Amazon Prime customers can purchase it for $29.04. I have purchased other weather devices from Ambient and know that a direct purchase gets me UPS Ground shipping from Arizona which takes a week to arrive on the east coast. As an Amazon Prime customer, I would definitely opt for paying the additional $0.55 to get 2-day shipping. I can definitely recommend this device. If the WS-07 is not exactly what you are after, I would recommend a trip to Ambient Software's website. As far as I know they are the largest Internet retailer of weather instruments. Overall their selections and pricing are excellent. They have quite a variety of devices in this same basic price range. ShelterLogic 10x10 1-3/8" 4-Leg Canopy (White) Review I bought 3 of these about 18 months ago and put them up. The legs are two peices and the rafters are three peices. If they werent then these things would have to ship in ten foot boxes. The problem is that the top can blow off in the right circumstances if you only have the feet anchored. You could hang weights from the top to solve the problem. What I did was drill self tapping screws into all the piping wherever two came together to make a joint or a seam. Then I made sure the feet were anchored securely. During a heavy snowfall in the winter of 2010-2011, one of the canopies collapsed under 12-14 inches of snow. This was where the rafter pipes slid together to make one long pipe. I reshaped the metal pipe ends with pliers, etc; reinserted the pipes and placed pipe clamps on all the pipes used to support the canopy top. We had more snow and lots of heavy rain since then. They are still standing. I'll admit, they are partially anchored to chain link fencing but they are still standing and do not leak. By the way, I live in Alabama and in April of 2011 we had crazy storms and crazy tornadoes with the biggest one being a 50 year record setting F5. We've also had a number of 50-70 mph wind storms in that time. In all those storm and all that wind, these things are still standing. If I needed a cheap, semi-temporary/semi-permanent canopy again, I'd buy one of these in a minute (but I'd still make my modifications which is why I marked it 4 stars). UPDATE: SEP 14, 2012- Today, I am ordering 2 of these to replace the original 2 of 3 that I put up 26 months ago. The frames are still intact but the canopies have been beaten by the sun and weather. Also the bungee straps wear in time and I find it's best to replace those with heavy zip ties or aluminum wiring designed for securing chain link fence fabric. These tents have been up full time for the last 2 years. They have endured a lot of severe thunderstorms, wind, hail, torrential down pours but the last storm 2 weeks ago with sustained winds of 60 MPH finally ripped the canopies.
