Just gave this as a gift. I've had the same one up and flying for years in the front yard. Only had to replace the flag once after enduring plenty of windy storms. It flies well, and the colors are very vivid. If you have to take it down for any reason, it's easily done with the light weight (but strong enough) pole which has segments that come apart or fit together easily. The pole fits into a plastic sleeve which you initially install in the ground with concrete. When you take the pole out, there's nothing sticking out of the ground to get in the way of mowing the lawn, etc.

LOFTi Laundry Drying Rack, White Review

The Lofti drying rack is great. It's lightweight, looks good, and doesn't take up floor space or need to be folded away somewhere when not in use. It really does provide a large amount of space for drying clothes. The only issue I ran into was assembly/installation. It's probably a two-person job if you aren't very handy. I did watch the video, the instructions are clear and easy to follow, and it took maybe twenty minutes to hang up.

Why four stars instead of five:

The problem I ran into was with putting the green connectors & poles together. In the video it shows the guy snapping them together no problem. My experience was different, I had to use a large rubber mallet to hammer them in. I tried dabbing a little dish soap on the connectors, my usual go-to for this type of job, but it wasn't a huge help. I'm of average strength, not elderly, and have no other issues that would prevent me from assembling something that was as easy to put together as the poles & connectors they use in the video. I don't know if the kit I had was defective, as one of the aluminum poles was missing the hole for the latching bit on the green connector, but since the connectors were hammered in I decided it wasn't going to be a problem. If this is what it typically takes to assemble the poles, connectors, and capping pieces on the ends they might want to tell you to have a rubber mallet on hand. It wasn't terribly hard to do, but if I hadn't had the mallet I might have just returned it rather than go purchase another tool to put it together.

Otherwise it is a good investment. Having the cleat/rope tie on the wall might mean you could lower it & load it & raise it up if you have a hard time reaching overhead to hang up wet clothing or you need to pull it up really high to keep the drying clothes out of the way. We hung it up over our basement sink so any soaking wet items could drip right into the sink instead of on the floor! I've used it numerous times in the last couple of weeks and have not run in to any problems. I would recommend it to anyone with a caveat regarding putting the poles & connectors together.

I have had several motion sensor lights- All had issues of either coming on when they should not, not coming on, or staying on. RAB seemed more expensive but promised higher quality, so in despiration I sprung for this. My high expectations have been exceeded. The motion sensor works perfectly! Finally! And to add to my joy, I see that it has a 10yr warranty - WOW! After seeing the 10yr warranty I called them about a different landscape fixture that had broken in the hurricane - It was out of warranty but they sent me a new one no problem! This company builds the best quality product and backs it with quality customer service - I will buy all future products from them - And due to the problematic nature of all the "Home Depot" motion lights, there is no competition on motion sensors - Get this one, you will be glad that you did!

Algoma 12 Ft. Steel Hammock Stand Review

So I have entered the world of indoor hammocks, bought myself an ENO Double Nest Hammock from REI and I needed a hammock stand that would fit inside my bedroom next to my Cali king sized bed.

Borrowed my friends 15 footer hammock stand and found that it was way too big for my bedroom. Found this bad boy measuring 12' and compared to the product site was 50 cents cheaper. So a win for me ($99.50 total)

You can take the hammock stand apart when not in use, it comes with 2 chains to attach your hammock to. The color is a dark green almost a dark pine. Comes with rubber stoppers for the floor. Total assembly was 2 minutes (I was entertaining my 4 year old). Dis-assembly was less.

Took about 5 days from ordering to getting it (bought online on a Sunday got it on a Friday), I live in the boonies too.

Overall if you are looking for a "smaller" hammock stand this is the way to go, cheers.
