The product isn't anything like the picture. The picture leads you to believe the item is 2 colors, a shiny black for the main unit, and a gray for the door. It's not. It's only black, and there's no gloss to it - it's just a dull black.

I doubt this item will last more than one season outside. Buyer beware.

Update [10/15/06] - I was right. The item is JUNK. All rusty, all the bolts, and the little chimney - rusted. Looks horrible. Stained brick paver patio. GARBAGE!!

HOMELITE ZR22650 17" Gas Lawn Grass Weed String Trimmer Review

I wanted the most inexpensive gasolene powered grass trimmer available. I have had similar Homelite trimmers before and they all have the same disadvantages.
1. The bump method to reel out the cutting cord is a disaster. I nearly always have to do it by hand after dismantling the cord holder. I understand the Stihl models have a much better system. However, please note that the bolt that holds the spool has a LEFT hand thread: this stops it coming undone when in operation. Wish I had remembered that!
2. These types of trimmer are useless in tall grass which, when cut, wraps around the shaft and requires tiresome hand cleaning.
Now to this model. It was reconditioned and in perfect condition when it arrived. Apart from being marked "RECON' it was like new. The engine worked well and the straight shaft saves me from stooping down to cut the grass as I am tall. In summary I got what I wanted at the right price.

Classic Accessories Veranda Elite 55-090-041501-00 Patio Table and Chair Set Cover For Large Rectangular and Oval Tables and Six Standard Chairs Review

I bought this cover for a Clayton Garden Oasis 7 piece patio dining set, which I purchased from Sears. It has 6 chairs and an octagon shaped table. The dimensions of my table are 60-3/4 in. x 54 in. x 27-1/2 in and the chairs are 24 in. x 28-1/2 in. x 42 in. The box for this cover says that it fits a round table and chair set up to 94 in. in diameter.

The cover is easy to put on. I left my umbrella stand in the table; the top has a plastic guard and I also put a plastic cup upside down on the top of the umbrella stand to further protect the table cover. The cover fit nicely over the top of my table and covers the top part of the chairs. There are four click-close straps that you are supposed to fasten around table legs, however, this did not work for my chairs. I was able to fasten three of them to a bar under the chair seat; the fourth was out of position and couldn't reach any of the chairs. There are also two elastic cords you can tighten around the bottom of the cover (see the customer images above). The cover has handles on the side and air vents. The fabric is heavy and the cover seems very well made.

We'll see how this holds up over the winter. So far, so good!

UPDATE 4-12-2012: I just removed this from my table and chair set and it held up fine during out fairly mild winter.

Bosmere V181 Haws Indoor 2-Pint/1-Liter Watering Can with Rose and Gift Box, Copper Review

I have to agree with the other reviewers. It is hard to think of a watering can that is more functional, and attractive, for watering house plants.

The long curved spout allows you to deliver precise amounts of water to flowers and plants. It also allows you to poke the long spout between leaves and flowers so that you can deliver just the right amount to the place in the pot where it is needed. The long curved spout also allows you to balance the tip so that you don't end up with over gushes of water.

As far as attractiveness, copper is one of the prettiest metals. Over time, the copper burnishes to a beautiful golden metallic color. (It also matches the copper pots hanging in my kitchen). This is a real asset around the house as far as looks. It's far better than having plastic stuff for watering. This won't fade or crack if it's left on a sunny window sill.

The spout has a detachable "rose" on the end. Using the rose, you can create a gentle shower for your delicate plants. Remove the "rose" and you can get a nice stream of water from the spout.

The brace at the top which connects the spout to the reservoir makes a nice sturdy handle for carrying this when it's full of water.

First let me say I never thought I would be in need of a product such as this, and also that I am not one to do reviews unless I really like something. After using several weed trimmers over the years, and advancing into my sixties, I decided it was time to upgrade and make life a tad bit easier. First I purchased the Husqvarna 323L Trimmer after much research (see my 323L review). While waiting for the trimmer to arrive I decided to research some belts (straps), and harnesses. Because of the unbelievable price from Amazon for this product, I kept returning to Amazon from viewing all others. I admit I was somewhat skeptical because of the price, and the lack of reviews for this harness, other than that from the manufacturer. I knew by then that the plain belts would never do, and I wanted something that would be comfortable, durable, offer great support, and be hassle free. These are some of the same prerequisites I had in mind for the trimmer. Well folks, all I can say is that I put myself through some needless worry, and unwanted wear and tear on this old frame, while waiting to decide.

This harness is not only comfortable; it meets my needs perfectly, with no complaints. It is adjustable to many body sizes, for both men and women. It is well padded, quite well made, easy to put on, top notch support, and good looking to boot. If I were to be picky, I would mention to Husqvarna that they make the waist belt longer, or possibly include an extension for us larger framed individuals, as well as the bracket needed to attach on the trimmer. I am 6'1" and weigh 285 lbs. Needless to say my waist is in the upper range of most people. Even so I can snap the belt around my 44+ inches. Balancing the machine to the harness is a breeze, making for one hand operation as an easy and comfortable experience.

If you are in need of a good quality, comfortable piece of equipment, that will make your yard chores more enjoyable, then purchase the Husqvarna Balance XT. I looked at many varieties of harnesses, both online, and in retail stores, and found none better. This combo with machine makes short work of my wooded two acres, with stream, and 20' high forty degree incline hill. My back and knees have never had it so good. Now, if I could only get my wife to try it on. Husqvarna do you have any suggestions?
