I have been growing Bonsai's for over 13 years and I have noticed that a lot of beginners tend to go overboard with supplies. They start spending all of this money before they even know if this is something they will really enjoy and stick with or if its just a passing interest. A large percentage of the people I introduced to Bonsai are no longer actively practicing. So if your a beginner I highly recommend that you try it out for at least 6 months before you start spending large amounts of money on professional quality supplies. That is one of the reasons why I highly recommend this set for beginners. 90 dollars for 14 tools is a steal. If at a later date you want to upgrade to a nicer set you can do so. At least then you will know more about how serious you are about the hobby.

I would have given this set a 4 star rating if I was basing it on just quality however given the amazing cost of this 14 piece set, well a 5 star rating was a no brainer!!

I used instant-up gazebos for shade on my side patio, replacing the tops annually as the hot sun destroys them. This summer record hot days destroyed the plastic tops mid-summer so I decided to try canvas. I was surprised they were so heavy. I am a 75 yr. old female and was worried that I couldn't install them alone; it wasn't as hard as anticipated. Reusable Velco zip ties helped; they are removable and adjustable. Once they were up I noticed they were thinner at the fold lines but still looked sturdy. As they aren't designed for gazebo tops, and would never have been noticed if used as intended instead as a roof I didn't delete a star. Time will tell how well they hold up. If they last 2 summers I will definitely continue to order them. Only complaint is size 12 x 12 not available.

Wanted something to cover my in-ground well. Purchased the replicated rock (medium size) which works great. Light weight but thick. Sits on the ground with 4 anchor attachments. Dug a little trench for it to sit into about 1" deep, anchored it, and then covered the trench with dirt. Looks very real. Planted a couple of flower around it. So much prettier than the old well casing or the old up-side down half barrel that covered it before. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Poulan P2500 17-Inch 25cc 2-Cycle Gas-Powered Straight-Shaft String Trimmer Review

I debated for a while on whether to go gor a cheaper trimmer or go ahead and spend extra for a quality trimmer. Since my last trimmer lasted me 12 years, I figured I could afford to go cheap this time. I have a Poulan lawn mower and really like it. Then I found out that this trimmer is actually made by Husqvarna, so I thought I couldn't go wrong since they are a quality brand anyway. The P2500 is just what I was looking for. The straight shaft is much more comfortable to use than my previous curved shaft trimmmer. It starts right up, it only takes a light tap to feed the string, and the spool pops off easily and is simple to restring. It easily handled the weeds in my ditch. My only complaint is that it could use some foam around the handles to make it a little more comfortable, but I can take care of that given that I didn't spend that much on it to begin with.

Let me start by saying that I rarely ever take the time to write reviews because of my schedule, but I find them most helpful (and they are what I rely on most) when trying to select the right product.

I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about the quality of these lights because of the very reasonable price, but after reading all of the rave reviews on them I thought I'd give them a chance.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and beauty of these landscape lights!! Not only did they provide a beautiful, golden glow (I prefer this coloring vs. the bright blueish/white LED lighting), but they looked amazing with my front yard landscaping!! They were extremely easy to assemble - I didn't even have to read the instruction manual. My front yard doesn't get constant sun - only the latter part of the day - but that is all these lights needed and they glow beautifully at night and provide just the right amount of lighting and truly look elegant!! I was afraid that since they would not get sunlight all day long that they wouldn't work properly at night since the manual stressed that they need constant exposure to sunlight. Well, I am happy to say that this is not the case. Purchase these lights and you will not be disappointed, trust me!! I have tried many other landscape lights and have been very unhappy with the quality and the lighting - these are the absolute best landscape lights I've ever had the pleasure of purchasing by far!!
