I have never had such high hopes for a product that, ultimately, disappointed so badly. The theory is that this scooter makes working in the garden from a seated position easy, and maybe even fun. It does neither. It is impossible to keep this thing going in a straight line, even with my garden rows being firmly packed. To get it to move I have to get off it, lift it to position the wheels in a straight line, and then move it to where I want to work, then get on it. When I need to move a bit further down the row, I must repeat the process all over again. I bought it because I have pretty severe arthritis, but didn't want to give up gardening. This just makes the process harder. I will be going back to using the little step-stool that I was using before.
