So if you are reading this review you are suffering from the blood sucking zombies we call mosquitoes..... We were too! We live on 8 acres in CT with a couple acres of lawn, a pond and then a couple acres of wetlands (aka swamp). This year with all the rain the mosquitoes were unbearable. Just being outside for 5 seconds you would have 2 or 3 on you, and we like to spend a few hours on the weekend by the fire pit, so we invested in this 1 acre programmable bug zapper just to see how well it performed. I loved that it has a photocell and goes on at dusk (and we leave it on until dawn to kill as many of these suckers as possible!!) Right from the first night we could see that the device was attracting hundreds and hundreds of mosquitoes. We put it about 25 feet from our fire pit, where a week ago we had been eaten alive, and while there were still a couple mosquitoes, you could see (and feel) that the zapper was doing its job, and when I went near the bug zapper it smelled like a BBQ because so many of those little critters were getting a annahilated. Our plan now is to pick up another unit.. maybe two, and then place them strategically around our house. I wish we had done this sooner in the year, but I am sure that this will help for the rest of this year, and in future years we will be proactive and get the zappers setup early to destroy these minuscule monsters as early as possible in the season!!!! This really is a much better solution to soaking yourself in toxic bug spray and still getting eaten alive!

Music City Metals 59812 Porcelain Steel Channels Cooking Grid Replacement for Select Grill Master and Uniflame Gas Grill Models, Set of 2 Review

I had originally destroyed my old grill racks on my Grill Master grill by a year of heavy use and poor maintenance. The cost of an original replacement grill grid would have cost me nearly $150 which was ridiculous because the whole grill cost only $200 brand new. I was so happy when I found this replacement for about $50 and it works great. So far I have used it about 20 times. The fit isn't 100% exact but it's close enough for the price - probably about 1/32 of an inch too short (enough to allow the grid to move a little when installing).

Cuisinart CGG-080 Griddl'n Grill Portable Gas Grill Review

I purchased this item because of its light weight. I own and love my Weber Q 100, but it weights around 35 pounds. I'm getting a little older, and have very limited use of my left arm anymore. This grill is only 11 pounds which is so much easier for me to handle tailgating. I love the Griddle on top. I can toast my hamburger buns, while cooking my hamburger, make pancakes, or do eggs in the morning for breakfast, and not have to bring a skillet. Clean up on the griddle is super easy. I use Pam spray for grills on the grill its self which helps with clean up there. The heat guard or plate that sets between the burners, and the grill is a different story. It sucks to clean up. Don't melt your cheese on your burgers on the grill. Maybe the griddle, but not the grill, you don't want your cheese melting down to the heat shield. This shield also holds the grease from your burgers which causes flare ups, then lots of smoke. I also don't like the screw in valve on the side. Once you get it on you really never have to take it off. I take it off because of travel, don't want it to break, and find out to late in my parking spot trying to tailgate. Getting it on stinks. You assemble this whole grill to begin with. As you put the burner in, you put it in tail first, so that way it hangs outside of the grill, to accept valve and gas. The tail has slots in it, why I don't understand. To correct this they give you a little silver cup, to put over the tail, which gets secured as you put in the valve. This makes it hard to thread the valve properly. To me what this cup does is it covers the slots so wind does not blow out the gas, also so it can allow the gas to get into the burner, other than that you would have a nice fire next to your gas canister.

It is a nice product, with good concepts. To me tho this needs to be tweaked on a little bit more before I would recommend it to anyone.

Pros. Light weight, takes up less room, and griddle means I also don't have to bring a skillet. Pretty good tailgater all in all.

Cons. Flare ups, slots in burner tail intake.

I would also like to add that you have to put the handles on yourself, which is easy, but they give you flat washers to put on between the nut and top. You should really take these washers down to your local hardware store and match them up to lock washers, or your handles will keep coming loose. It's a pain in the butt that their engineers missed this, which is something so simple.

***** PART B ........ Last Year at Chicagoland Speedway during NASCAR race weekend I witnessed one of these grills burn. One of the families there had this grill on a waist high table. I smelled something horrible turned around and watched the green paint bubble, and black smoke rising from this grill. I yelled at them, and they got it off the table, and turned off in time to save their canopy from also going up in flames. No I don't remember what he was cooking. But like I said that heat shield holds grease, and flares up. I do apologize for not updating this after it happened. I completely forgot until I saw that someone had sent me a question on this grill. Give them all the credit for jogging my memory. Thank You R. Yu
