Mayne Fairfield 5825B Patio Planter, 20-Inch, Black Review

Five years ago I purchased the 20" X 36" Mayne Fairfield planter & it has been outdoors year-round in CA & still looks great.
Recently, I purchased another one to place next to the one I have & the color matches perfectly. The color is listed
as Clay but I would describe it as light to medium cream or beige. There is no brown or terra cotta tint to the color.
The color of the planter on my monitor shows a darker color than it actually is.
These are well made planters that will last a lifetime. Before placing soil in the planter I lined it with garden weed cloth
which lets the water run through but keeps the soil from clogging the drainage area.
These planter look beautiful in my garden.

This item is great and it was a good price. The instructions are only pictures but once you figure it out it is easy to assemble. We have it in our screened in porch and it looks great. It is very comfortable and looks nice. I can lay out there with the dog next to me and read a book or just lounge and enjoy the breeze. It is a nice addition to my patio. We plan on getting a pool built and our area is big enough that I can still leave the lounge hammock in the screened in area on one end.

I am pleased overall with this Cubby Storage Unit. It is perfect in my foyer where I had planned to put it. Solid wood throughout and it is stable. However, there is a very strong smell to it like other reviewers have stated. That is the reason for the four stars. I am hoping the smell will dissipate but I would not recommend putting it in a bedroom or closet right away. It may need several weeks to air out first. The product is not defective or anything. It just has been treated to withstand the outdoor weather. The one situation where I would not recommend it at all is if you are very sensitive to the smell of chemicals.

I live in South Texas and my pool suffers from severe evaporation. This sun blanket has decreased the evaporation to almost nothing. I'm not needing to add chlorine to the pool very often any more, and my favorite part is that every day my pool gets warmer. This product was very easy to cut to the size of our irregularly-shaped pool. You can't tell from the picture, but this sun blanket is very lightweight and easy to handle (easy to remove and replace). You won't need any rolling mechanism or any extra expensive products. I'm just amazed that this sun blanket can do all that it does and it is so easy to use. Midwest Canvas has made an incredible product.

TEHO 4-volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Garden Maintenance Kit Review

I thought for sure that I would really enjoy using this product. I found the tools to be fairly bulky (but not heavy), the "power" level generated from these tools is only fair, and the pruner could be down-right dangerous if one is not SUPER careful. The plastic guards for the trimmer and shear blades, which should be in place when not in use, is really cheaply made and will crack and be broken in no time at all. The plastic guard for the pruner however is much more sturdy and will last a very long time.

I do like that the pruner has an LED light that you can activate prior to depressing the cutting switch. This will allow the user to better see what is being cut. I found that the pruner did not cut as cleanly as I suspected and often it struggled with branches that were smaller than what it claimed could be easily cut and the button to activate the pruner would have to be pushed 2 or 3 times to completely cut through the branch. The blade on the pruner can be easily replaced by pulling up a green lever and considering how expensive this product is, I was more than a little surprised that at least one additional blade wasn't included.

Overall, if you have an assortment of quality gardening tools, I suspect that you won't fall in love with this product (the exception might be those gardeners who are experiencing arthritis and find that manually working a pruner is no longer a comfortable option). I's not a bad product, I just found that it wasn't any more useful than my current tools and the added burden of charging it before use (not to mention keeping track of the charger), keeping it dry, and having to handle it more delicately than traditional tools (if dropped on a hard surface - you really run the risk of it breaking) made it a bit too high maintenance for my liking. I also found that it took longer to prune with the TEHO pruner and I couldn't reach as easily into tight spots. The only tool that produced faster results was the hedge trimmer. For small jobs, such as trimming up perennials once they are done flowering, the hedge trimmer made really quick work of tidying everything up.

I had a storm take out my small oak in my backyard. I borrowed my parents old POS electric chainsaw. It just has too many problems. I used it to trim one of my other trees and it could barely get through it. So out with the old and in with the new. This thing is light. I could cut branches one handed. It does seem to jump around a little because it runs the chain at a slow speed. It go the job done. I cut through about 5 inches of oak. This was a great purchase and will be handy for the future. I guess I will have to let my parents borrow it now.
