My experience in hopes that it might help someone:I bought a house a few years back with a pool but it had not run for years. This year I invested money into it & had it repaired, painted, & filled with water. So after a few uses & running the pump/filter I noticed that the dirt was being shot right back through the pool return ports. After much research it turned out to be that the filter grids inside the filter were old & torn.
I have a Hayward ProGrid Model DE3620 filter & so I bought these filter replacement & they slid in perfectly. Keep in mind that this was my first time doing this & though I needed an extra hand just to keep the grids upright while I attached the top manifold, it was pretty easy. After, I added the D.E. powder through the skimmer as instructed & it was good to go.
So I've been running the pump/filter for weeks now & my pool has been crystal clear! Wanted to mention that shipping was very fast & so far it has been a great product & for a very good price. Now I'm ready for the summer!
